- Head to the Welcome Center southeast of the Lifepod and scan two Habitat Builder fragments.
- Build a compact first base near the Lifepod or another resource-rich starter location.
- Place a Fabricator inside your base; the Lifepod Fabricator does not count as fully functional for later recipes.
- Use early resource routes for silver, lead, quartz, and gold before committing to deeper unlocks.
